The Polar Bear Plunge Was a Success!
They made it! Tanya and Zach survived the Waukegan Polar Bear Plunge with all of their fingers and toes intact. With roughly 380 fellow adventurers, they ran 75 yards into Lake Michigan on New Year’s Day, and the event raised over $5,500 for the Special Recreation Services of Northern Lake County. Brian took photos and video from the shore, so you can watch the Plunge for yourself in the video above.
